Welcome to Birchwood School Maori Curriculum!

Nau Mai, Haere Mai, Welcome to Birchwood School Maori Curriculum blog!

The intention here is to inform parents, students, whānau, and teachers what we're teaching and learning here at Birchwood, as well as give you support and resources so you can practise at home (and in the classroom).

You'll see we have pages on Whakatauki, Waiata, Kapa Haka, Myths and Legends, Feedback on Hui, and so on.

We will also put links to resources where you can learn kupu (words), see what people and organisations are in the community, as so on.

Our goal is to keep this updated so you have access to what we're teaching each term. Please note that we haven't quite finished everything yet- there will be more about making simple sentences soon.

Do make comments, or email me, to let us know your thoughts, ask any questions, give us ideas, and so on.

Nga Mihi!
